Driving By Zug Island

Once considered the most dirty island in the world (and it still might be), Zug Island has a lot of industry on it. If your downwind of this, your air quality will suffer a bit. Most of the prevailing winds drive the various smells and smoke across the river towards Canada.

  1. This is only a very small part of Zug Island. A cement facility. Cement production requires a lot of energy. Most of the heating for cement comes from natural gas energy.
